Description
Femoden is the brand name for 21 small white tablets containing 2 active ingredients; 30 micrograms of ethinyloestradiol (an oestrogen hormone) and 75 micrograms of gestodene (a progestogen hormone). The ED in the name refers to the every day presentation where 7 large white lactose containing placebos or sugar tablets are also included in the package, so that a tablet is taken each day of the month instead of having a break. Femoden is an oral contraceptive, commonly known as a Birth Control Pill or The Pill that has been prescribed to prevent you from getting pregnant.
