• The symptomatic treatment of non-bacterial inflammations of the conjunctiva (due to smoke, ultraviolet rays, work on the computer, watching television, chlorinated water, air currents, cosmetic products, contact lenses, etc), as well as of allergic reactions that accompany the pollen allergies or „hay fever”.
• The ophthalmic solution with tetryzoline hydrochloride is usually administered 1-2 drops in each of the affected eyes, 2-3 times a day. If the product has been prescribed by the doctor, his/her indications must be followed.
• Tetryzoline is a sympathomimetic agent with imidazolinic structure, with direct stimulatory action on alpha-adrenergic receptors. After local application, it determines vasoconstriction, with nasal and ocular mucosa decongestion, which is due to arteriolar constriction al local level.
• Tetryzoline is a partial agonist of the receptors responsible for platelet aggregation.
